Baixar site inteiro, arquivos e diretórios.

# wget -cr http://www.lugar.do.download

# wget -cr ewb.tpa.com.br/prazos/acesso.asp

Baixando apenas páginas html do site, deixando de lado as imagens e outros arquivos.

Neste caso usamos o parâmetro -A, seguido dos tipos de arquivos a serem baixados:

# wget -r -A ".html" http://www.terra.com.br

Fazer download a 50 bytes/segundo da URL especificada.

# wget -cr --limit-rate=50  www.tpa.com.br

Para fazer download a 50 kilobytes/segundo da URL especificada.

# wget --limit-rate=50k www.tpa.com.br

Retorna o seu ip.

# wget -q -O - checkip.dyndns.org|sed -e 's/.*Current IP Address: //' -e 's/<.*$//'

187.4.229.187
